Which Kia Forte engine do I need?

Between 2010 and 2024 the Forte, Forte Koup, and Forte5 ran four-cylinder engines from 1.6L to 2.4L, and the mix changed by model and year, so the model name alone won't tell you which one fits. The quickest way to get the right engine is your VIN or the engine code stamped on the block. The table below shows the engines offered by year. Every engine we sell comes with a warranty. Terms depend on the type of engine you buy. We explain them before you order, and they're listed on your invoice. Extended warranties are available for an additional cost. The old engine, called the core, must come back within 30 days of delivery to keep the warranty in place.
